Can you hold a place before I apply?
Yes, with receipt of deposit. -
Do I pay first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my security deposit?
Yes. For year leases or longer, we require first’s and last’s month rent, plus a 1 month security deposit. -
How old do you have to be to apply?
You must be at least 18 years old to apply. -
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes. As long as the unit was left in good condition, you will get your deposit back within 30 days of move out. -
Do you allow cosigner(s)? Who needs a cosigner?
Yes we do. If the tenant applicant needs help being approved due to credit or lack of funds, a cosigner may be able to used in the application. The cosigner would be in first position in the event of rent default. -
You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?
You will apply at www.keycitymgmt.com. Click on the “Apply Now” button and select the property you wish to apply for. Or on our listings page, you can click on the “Apply Button” for that particular unit. -
How do I pay rent?
All rents are collected through your tenant online portal or through the mobile app. -
I want to get a pet. What do I do?
Each unit is on a case by case basis. If you are looking to get a pet, please reach out to the management company to determine if the pet(s) are allowed. If we determine that a pet is allowed, there will be an additional charge for a pet deposit. -
I want to move out, but my roommate wants to stay. What do I do?
The roommate will need to be able to qualify to take over the entire rental payment. If the roommate is qualified to carry the full rent, management will send an updated lease to the roommate, removing you from the original lease. -
My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?
We require a minimum of a 30 day notice prior to renewal. Please send request through the mobile app or email admin@keycitymgmt.com. -
Who is responsible for paying for repairs & maintenance requests?
There is a one-time charge of $75 for each maintenance request. If repairs are not due to tenant fault, then they are covered by the landlord. Any repairs due to tenant negligence will be charged back to tenant.
